What should I blog about tonight ...

first of all, i would like to shout, JO is here!!!! w00t! Can't wait, I'm going to collect her tomorrow or should I say later today? It'll cost me $65 but its all worth it (i hope heh). Bought a new curtain for my door-entry(?) today. Its brownish under some lighting (from outside) and purplish from inside my room. I like it.

Hari Raya is finally here, Syawal has come to take over Ramadhan. Eventhough fasting can be tiring but I miss it. The feeling is different. well, everything has to come to an end right? So I took off tonight, but had to 'celebrate' Syawal's night at work due to my first night shift. I was so lazy! Omg. Well I had a headache too... My sueprvisor tested me on one of the unit's line up and I could say.. i answered 60-70% of his question and he said my line is not so good.. what the.. *scratches head* i mean his remaining question is about 1 or 2 lines only arghhh. He is such a perfectionist. Oh well, try harder next time. ;) I don't want to dissappoint him and the others.

Yeah, went to Parkway after house visiting (watched finding nemo at my grandma's place, bring back funny memories, its a gd show).. treated my parents to Delifrance (no where else 'nice' to eat there anyway), bought a curtain, told my dad I wanna get N73, kinda sad that Gramophone no longer carries Flunk's Morning Star album and drank Himalayan Tea Latte when what I had wanted was a blended coffee from Coffeebean.. (tomorrow!!!)

Ah! Came back from work this morning, and people were coming back after the Raya prayers. There were a bunch of REAL african people. They were wearing those colourful dressings with the colourful songkok/hat... *look for pictures* They were noisy though, I couldn't get back to sleep. But anyway, there was 6-7 of them..kinda covering the way and when I wanted to get down I had to say excuse me and sorry and they were like greeting me, all I could do was reply and smile and not look at them. It was so awkward! Don't ask me why. Maybe because I dislike noise as it reminds me of a crowded place.

So I'm going to kontinue cleaning up my messy room tomorrow. *ehem* considering that I have 5 days off now... muwahahaha.

This ad song is great.

The Nokia L'Amour Collection TV Ad

The first time I heard this song, I was in my room. Not knowing that it was a TV Ad, I rushed out and was pleasantly suprised. Its a beautiful ad with a beautiful music. It enticed me to buy the actual phone. And I almost did! However, the functionality kinda let me down, it was minimal so I opted to skip this fabulous phone. sigh. Its uber-looking, I love the flower-y pattern design and did I mention that the colours were great too?

I wanted a flip or swivel phone for my next one. I had a normal straight one, an NGage which you could say is different... and I thought a flip phone is cool. Had a
trade with my friend once. We traded phone for about a mth and I like it (it was a flip phone). She used my first phone, which wasn't NGage btw, don't think she wants to use that. lol. Anyway, now I have my eyes set on Nokia N73, though it isn't a flip phone, I want its camera capability. Definitely clearer shots with that Carl Zeiss lens. I like to take pictures but usually just very shy to take out my digicam, hence a camera phone would be good and it would look like I was just using it. So Nokia N73 is on my wishlist for December. :) May the price reduce by then!

Today I ate a lot more than usual.

Accompanied my colleague to go 'beg shopping' and then met up with my ex-poly mate to have dinner (then walk around for a while, buy more food, argh too full!). Lucky both of them are not shy or anything, so there wasn't much awkward moments. *alert alert* do ASK for discounts when you buy handbegs at the bazaar. 'Cos my friend haggle (quite moderately) from $58 to $45. This is even after the auntie told us the cost price is $40+ ... my ass!!! I knew it couldn't be that expensive anyway. Exuberant price! It looks nice, but hello, if say, it was Isetan or something then I'll believe it. I still think the price should have been $30+ but of course we'll never get that price ever. The funny thing is how, after she haggled, the auntie asked who is buying ? Then I pointed to my friend, and she went like.. Ok-ok. So does that mean if I was going to buy, she won't sell it to me at that price? Nonsense! Then she kept saying, come back ah buy some more.. to me and my friend. First of all, its sooooo not my type. Secondly, I don't usually buy things from people who failed in customer service (unless if I don't have a choice). In this case, what was she implying by asking that illogical question??!!

So anyhow, it was a good day. Though, at work (previous night), we had to do some inventory count for some spool pieces and elbows and stuffs. So I was asked to help out, and it felt like weight training. Haha cool though. Because, in reality, I won't be doing it in the gym for that long (3hrs~). I think I moved over 400 items (not far), ranging from 500gm-2kg). So if I don't have a leaner arm by the end of the day, I just prove that spot exercising really doesn't work. :p

Psst, I've just downloaded the Age of Empires 3 : The Warchiefs (expansion pack) demo. Can't wait to try it! I want ... Tomb Raider : Legend on the OLD Xbox. I don't have xbox 360 (don't intend to get it).

Nouvelle Vague

Anyone heard of 'em? I did.. I really like their " In a manner of speaking " song. I wanted to buy the album (mths back), listened to it, found out that some are too slow for me. Anyway, happen to saw this on youtube. I like it how they're singing live but take a look at the musicians, they can make the different sounds found in the actualy song (like flowing water).

So the other girl just sang the last few lines??? Err...
