My first official work pass!
Well technically ... that's half-correct. Today, I made my first official work ENTRY pass. Hahaha. Its used for me to enter Jurong Island but not the workplace. That will be made on Orientation day, just before (or maybe after?) the Fire-Fighting exercise (that I've been dreading about). I'm not sure if its legal for me to post the pic up, so I won't take the chance.
Went back by taking a normal bus instead. Dropped at Lakeside MRT. First time. On the way ... I passed SIS's plant which is just opposite Jalan Tepung. Hah. Maybe it was on Jalan Gula. Heh.. Ok lame.. (you know, SIS - the sugar cane brand?)
Boring, since I ended up at Lakeside, I didn't go to Daiso afterall.
My money... *cries*
Yes people, I spent $188 on a 300GB Seagate hdd. (its $3 more expensive than next door, but I didn't want to go around again - since I've been doing that). Was looking for 250GB but since its like out of stock, EVERYWHERE, I had to settle with 300GB.
First time installing an hdd, guess its simpler 'cos I don't need to install any OS since its the 2nd hdd and not acting as the main one. Not sure if I should have gotten SATA instead, wouldn't want to take the chance. I'm not sure how far my mobo is compatible with current SATAs as its quite old. *hint hint*
But really, don't think I'll need a new pc anytime soon since I don't play games that often anymore, in fact, I haven't been playin for few months already! So I just need the space for some storage. I really don't know where the space in my C drive has gone too. I can't find things that much to delete. Argh. Wonder if there's any program that could detect which folder has what amount and list them in order?
My obsession with Anime stays.

5 more days!!!
I just received a letter from my *new* workplace! And work will officially commence next tuesday! Are we going to start training immediately? There only mentioned that training schedules will be given on the first day, while the second day itself is Orientation day.
They didn't even mention what time I'm suppose to come for work. o_O Well, so I have to go back to make my pass. I'm thinking of Friday but its Good Friday, no doubt it won't be close but the pass making section might. So maybe tomorrow and I want to avoid the crowd at IMM too. Will be going to Daiso to grab some nice boxes to put my CDs in. =D
Orientation day ... site tour.. meet people.. sit in to some HR lecturing.. free food.. *GASP!* FIRE FIGHTING ??!!! What! Second day...Oh god. I'm so not physically prepared for that. I wonder how it'll be like. I remember hearing something like running up and down with the hose (15 kg *pants*), and of course some fire extinguishing excercise. Eh... carrying heavy stuff is Ok, but running... RUNNING?! ME?! Pls God, let my legs be strong that day. (Pray for me guys).
Materialise!
I was interested in having a haircut similar to an anime character. However, I'm afraid it might be too short for my round face. (Imagine the pic below and the round face of this layout's pic :p). Well, I ended up having my back-hair being cut the way her's is but front and side is definitely longer. Maybe I might just go ahead and bring the pic next time round. The front side reminds me of another character, which on second look isn't the same, just similar. Maybe I'll just look for it to compare. Hmmm.
I need specs. I really do!
Sogaaaaiii!
Oh and did I mentioned, I bought a whopping 300Gb sized hdd. That and more in the next entry.

Finally, finally ...
I've found a site that can stream music! Though it looks distorted up there. o_O But anyway, the only downside is that it doesn't play automatically - though that's kinda good when visitors get tired of it already, or doesn't want any ... noise. :p
I like the hmm what do you call that, ambience(?) of this music. Calming and happy too.
And I finally cut my hair today. =D
I was thinking of deep purple highlights but they need bleaching, due to the crazy colour. So nope, I don't want to bleach my hair. Anyway just considering, not highlighting anytime soon. I thought the colour seems nice. :p

Green is good for your eyes.
And so are Animes! Hahahaha. Why do I have pictures of a this character up? Because I find her expressions funny and cute. Always a laugh, her reactions to things. Anyway, I just noticed how similar this blog looks like to a certain someone's. Didn't mean to. Sigh. The picture style was 'inspired' by a photoshop tutorial that I stumble upon regarding montage making. Words.. from another anime not related to the character pictured. I was actually thinking of putting the tag/aboutme/etc below, where the 'buttons' are now. But it might be too squeezy. I like my blog to have space!
Hope you like it. Well, I like the colour especially. =D It took me almost 8 hours (or was it 10?) to finish. Because I need to wait for the thing to be downloaded to capture the scene, because I can't do print screen straight from WMP. Any suggestions? Its irritating really.
I guess what I like about animes are their expressions of wacky emotions and reactions. Also the issues involved and the interesting storylines. (And the realism of it too). They have humour, blood, gore, action, thriller, mysteries... you name it, they'll have it.
Its all going down the drain.
My efforts to eat less and build up stamina. I ate a LOT today. Don't know why. But it seems that I eat a lot more when I'm sick. You see, before I was sick (3 days ago - cold, must be that rain I was caught in at East Coast), I was Ok with eating less and am able to control myself. But eversince then, I've been eating and munching on snacks - next to real food. I'm worried that I might not be ready for next tuesday! (Yes, it has been pushed back a day, I don't mind if its a week either. Heh. More time.) So, I need some motivation. Help please.
Anime OSTs.
Ok, after listening to LushUno and Telepopmusik, among others for countless hours, I'm converting to listening to Anime OSTs. Got hooked after watching the Anime itself. 2 OSTs at the moment. It sounds like it comes off from a movie or something. The scores are lovely and surreal. The beats, the rythm. The theme song? Good too. Its just plain different. =)
Laugh with me.
I stumble upon this anime and I find this episode funnier than the previous 2. Hope you find it funny too. And that it also brightens up your day. I think YouTube is a really good service. I might be sharing more anime or any other interesting vids here.

Sigh.
Why ... I don't know.

Sad? Melancholic? Restless.
