Project: case fan and fan grill.

Bought a new Purple LED silent fan and a 3D aluminium fan grill.

Comparison of old and new fan grill.

Comparison of old and new fan before connecting.

I took pictures of the insides of my casing. Especially the wiring, so I won't forget which goes where. Here's how it looks like before and after connecting the new fan. Both fans using 4-pin Molex connector.

Different grill effect.

Then I on my PC! Voila! The difference:

And this with lesser light, will take another one at night for better effect, I think.

I simply love it.

Wonder why it looks bluish when its perfectly purple to me?

Oh do you know how great the final quarter of the year will be??!!

There is of course, Survivor XI: Guatemala. I've always liked the history of the Mayan empire (& Aztec) and the lands surrounding it. None of the contestants attracted me yet. Soon, when it start I guess. And there's also Amazing Race to complete the reality rush. All in September!

October comes the one of the events I've been waiting years for! The release of AGE OF EMPIRES 3! There are 8 civilisations and you can ally with the Native Americans. Spanish, British, French, Portugese, Dutch, German, Russian and Ottoman. I'm not sure of the civilisations advantage but maybe Ottoman 'cos the middle eastern designed buildings are always nice. However, I might give either Dutch or French my first try. Which would you be?

The demo at Comex was rather lagging. I guess the system just couldn't handle it! I hope mine can! Beautiful graphics, looks a bit confusing. Ah, I'll just need to get use to it!

A picture I took using handphone of AoE3 at Comex'05. If I had known I would come earlier or day before. The idiot kid who was playing it wouldn't let it go. Argh. Then I had to go! *sigh*

In October, t.A.T.u's new album 'Dangerous and Moving' will be out too. Well, since now everyone knows they were faking it, will they still repeat it? Haha. It doesn't matter! I do like their music. And their new single is nice too. But maybe without that much controversy, its not doing so well in the charts.

November will come bringing Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire with it. 17th November, and I'll be catching the first movie of that day I hope, like we always do except for the 3rd one. Yes, Harry Potter mania is back again for me! Did you know that I have been watching back-to-back (and repeats) of the previous 3 movies on DVDs? Thanks to my friend for lending me! I've been visiting websites relating to it almost everyday too. Mainly mugglenet.com (highly recommended!). The trailer seems awesome and cool enough. They have all grown up and look swell. :p

Chronicles of Narnia : The witch, the lion and the wadrobe (or however the sequence is) is coming in December. No, I've never read the books but it does look good. And what better to feature a Lion as the protagonist ??!!! *winks*

There are other things too but I can't recall. It shall be added here later.

A chat with an old friend.

Just had a small talk with someone I met 5 years ago. It reminded me of the times I had back then. Well, actually I met his friend first. Mathijs on ZONE playing AoK. He introduced me to Henry here. So we three often play together, I'm the weakest of course. But they were kind enough not to mind as much. I was closer to Mathijs though. And he became my online little brother. (: He was 2 years younger than me, and Henry 2 years older. I play more often with Mathijs than with Henry, so we never really talk much. Henry sometimes seem egoistical in games. Don't really like that, but hey its just a game right? He plays good, who could blame? Haha.

However, as years goes by I see less of Henry. He wasn't often online. I talked more with Mathijs. We talked about school, games and life. I always envy him because he gets to travel each holiday. Drive to France, fly to Spain. Oh everywhere seems so near! It was kinda sad, really. How we 'lose contact' over the last 2 years. I had gotten more busy and he too. So we talked less and less. And now he is off to study Congenital (I think) Artificial Intelligence (that I'm sure) at Utrecht University. He is always an intelligent young man. (For that I envy too!) Guess this also means I won't see him online for AoE3 either. :(

Miss the good old days. The postcards. The school dramas. The difference between Europe and Asia. He also opened me to the world of Vegetarians, but I can never be one for I so love red meat. I never had a little brother, or such a close pen-pal. A good friend to talk to. I guess I'll write to him for his coming birthday. :)

Btw, he is the longest online friend I've ever kept in contact with.

Research shows only children tend to do better in school, have more friends and are more flexible about gender roles.

Another article that caught my eyes. Being an only child, it interest me so.

" Research seems to be on Sylvia's side, too. According to Bill McKibben, author of "Maybe One: An Environmental and Personal Argument for Single-Child Families," studies show that only children tend to do better in school, especially in science, math, and literature, have more friends, and are more flexible about gender roles than kids in larger families. "

Science, Ok. Literature, maybe. Math... MATH?! WHAT?! I'm still waiting!!!

So what do you think about this article?

Dead like me!

Great show. Was on Ch i till they cancel it. I just found out today (or yesterdae) that its showing on ch 5. I guess ch 5 is recycling ch i's shows? Well, I'm not complaining, only that it is at freaking 2 a.m!!!! But it was delayed and I waited till 2:30a.m. I hope they'll show season 2 as well, I think they just started maybe almost halfway through? I can't really remember because I never watch this episode before. But please, please! change the timing. Too bad the show was cancelled in the U.S, wondering if it'll get pick-up again.
