Archery in SP!
Oke oke, I totally love it. I am VERY dissappointed and in total REGRET about not joining during the first year. Actually, I wanted to. But I was still very SHY (...ehem) and NEW then. So I'm not so daring. (sad)
Didn't hurt my arm todae! Only once or twice, had about 18 shots. Here's the lowdown on it:
First round (10m board):-
6 shots (2 turns, 3 arrows each) on the normal round coloured target.
1st turn didn't hit any bullseye (guess thats what one week of off will do to you.)
2nd turn, all three hits bullseye!!! Very happy indeed. =)
Second round (10m board):-
9 shots, but instead of the coloured target, they put about 6 balloons.
Oke, let's just say I was pretty adamant about shooting balloons, hate the bursting sound.
Went into the (forgot the name) firing line? With hearts beating fast, Peggy asks me to shoot the bottom 3 balloon. She ask me quick before anyone else takes it. Talk about pressure!
And you know what happened? I was the first to shoot a balloon! Hahaha so happy (and proud? Oops =X) Then I go on to miss my next 2 shots lol.
The next 2 turns (6 shots) ended with me shooting 2 balloons each.
So in total I had 5 balloons out of 9. Not bad. Top scorer. ;) (Not including the archers in archery club ah).
Final round (20m board):-
Only had 3 shots, only 1 try. Did not miss the board. Did not hit the bullseye either. I think I just need more practice. ;) I didn't hit the bullseye the first dae with the coloured target either. Only 3.. out of like 18 shots. Difference!

Haiz?
Suddenly no mood. I am freakingly sleepy. Worked for 10 straight hours todae. I need to sleep. But somehow I just dont want to. I got Archery tomorrow (again). I wanna re-design my blog template. Maybe, just maybe, all I want is my N-gage back. *termenung*

Fun week!
Other things that I did during this past week. I met Nina at work todae. She and her (future tunang) came in to buy .. erm can't remember. No more Hello Kitty magnets temporarily.
Mondae: Went for this programme by SP, ARCHERY. Board was only 10 meters away, not bad for a first try, did not miss it. ;) Bow's poundage is 20 so that's roughly 10kg of power needed to pull. Had about 15-18 shots. 3 bulls eye. (yey!) Hit myself with the bow string, got bruised. Will only show 1 (I got 3). This was taken todae, so it wasn't too bad and also I did apply some ointment, it reduced the bruising effect. My friend's bruise got really dark black (a bit scary if you ask me).
 Trust me, it ain't painful.
Wednesdae: Attended a know yourself type workshop. Played arcade. Collected my long awaited, overdue digicam! Went to Nokia Care Centre but was 25 mins a little too late (bloody hell). N-gage got hit by the White Screen of Death.

Thursdae: Met Nana. Went to NCC again, got a sucky and rude and sarcastic customer service officer. Had dinner at Banquet (yummy wanton). Went shopping at Giant. Saw a great KitKat flavour. Its new and it looked good! (Taste good too!)

Stayed up to watch the LIVE pontification.
Switch channel to CNA at 12 midnight(blatantly). Saw WHITE smokes. Shouted like a madwoman (mum thought I said green). Excited. Enthusiasthic. So who has been CHOSEN to be the new POPE? Waited for 45 minutes to see WHO it was. As time reaches that 45th minutes, seeing the flow of human bodies walking, joining the celebration in St. Peter's Square, such a HUGEEEE crowd. Roughly estimated to be 100,000 if I'm not mistaken.
Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger is the NEW Pope. He is now Pope Benedict XVI. Conservative guy he was said to be. Good I think, in a world where one can be so irrational and act hastily and less judgmental. I guess we can't really know. Just hope he is as good as Pope John Paul II (as he was under him since 1981).

Went back to SP
Attended this " Who do you think you are? " class, where you get to know your personality better. It was Ok.. fun to know what I am. Well for the first quiz, I fall in the STRATEGISTS category, while the 2nd is IDEALIST (Champion), though I do think I'm a mixture of IDEALIST and RATIONALE to make up my STRATEGIST. Best part? Meeting new people (mostly first years, man feel so old!) and listening to the teacher's chocie of favourite songs which sounds just like LUSH (99.5FM). *wink*
Went to Clementi to play at this arcade which cost you $2/hr to play ANY games. Enjoyed it, though its an old arcade, got a few games that I liked. Played Time Crisis 3 like how many times ... 'cos whenever I die, I just basically shoot YES to continue (die you die!). Heh. Saves a lot a of money I tell you! Anyway, got this lubang from my poly friends who frequent there. Then went to buy sucky bubble tea, I specifically mentioned COFFEE ICE BLENDED (not the tea option), yet I still got the tea taste. Grrr. There goes my $1.
Took 105 to Orchard, alighted at the Thai Embassy. Walked through the underground to Wisma Atria (tempted by the Otah2). Collected my precious Sony digicam (losing my other precious $84). Happy. Elated. Walked over to PS, no wait, remembered that other stops might have bus no. 36. Found one after Paragon stop. Took it. Fell asleep on it. Woke up, feeling a bit panicked that I might have missed the stop. Turned to ask my fellow commuter, "Excuse me, this I just miss Parkway Parade?" She turned and replied "Sorry, I don't speak English." I said Thanks and had this "Duh!" look. Soon discovered I did not miss my stop afterall. =)
Went to send my Ngage to the Nokia Centre, arrived at 8:20pm. Just to find that the repair service counter just CLOSED (bloody hell). Here I am to waste my money and I got rejected (damn you Nokia!). Geez.
Ate at Banquet, went home, watch Amazing Race (sacrifices), JUST to see Uchenna got botak-ed! Rob was really rude, pulling kids to help him push. Tsk! Tsk!
Next thought : upgrading and trading in my dad's n3210 with n6260.

Curiosity
Too bad I got not camera to take a pic of it. Well this was what happened:
My candle is lit, the wax, melted fully. The wax is as liquid as it gets, it almost looked like water. Then I wonder, what would happen if I add a bit of water to the melted wax? Thus, I added about 2 ml of water or less.
1) Formed bubble-like formation.
2) Its like mucous, gives me the gooey imrpession.
3) Wax turned cloudy.
4) Flame is dying.
5) Flame did NOT die.
6) Now that bubble is turning into the original-hard wax colour, while the rest continues to get cloudier.
7) Assuming that the now, COLOURED section is harden wax caused by the different water temperature.
Assessement: I think its because the wax trapped the water, preventing it from boiling/evaporating off. At the same time, water moves towards the wick, thus affecting the power. If if stay on the top, it would be evaporated and not much difference would be seen. So why is the melted wax cloudy?
Contamination by water molecules? Hmm I just moved it.
The coloured section moved around like OIL in WATER. The rest of the wax is now gel-like.
Now giving me the impression that the gel section is not helping in keeping the flame alive. And I still think that the water is being trapped by the now coloured wax. It's coloured but not harden (like oil).
Yeah well, guess I got nothing much to do uh. Going to play AoM now.

Gemini
Guess I'm kinda proud of being a Gemini, so much that I can't stop talking about BEING ONE. So here's another observation on my part:
Everyone knows Gemini's can be of 2 personality and character in 1. So I was just thinking about the event at Constant Cravings when I was out with some of my coursemates and saw my ex-schmates.
I am like this lost-hyper active,(a bit loud) kid with my coursemates.
However, I am like this laid-back, more relax, listener with my ex-schmates.
(Hey, its all IMHO, agreements???)
Whichever I am, I'm glad to be both of them. 'Cos I love being HYPER and I love being laid-back. Well, just some advantages of being a Gemini. *winks*
P.S: Being able to be of 2-sides does not make me a backstabber, evil, manipulating (well maybe), cheater and liar.

A dream.
2 nights ago, I dreamt of visiting Vatican City. I was at the funeral of the late Pope John Paul II. Alone I was, as I entered the cathederal. Feeling awkard to be the only muslim there as I wrote down my name. I received a memorabilia as a remembrance. There I was seated among the sparse faithfuls. It was not full, hence it was not crowded. Then I was lead to a room where his body laid. He was decked in a red robe, holding a long cross(?); similar to what was often seen in pictures. After that I left the building to meet my friends, and then it was joint by another dream of meeting my friends.
I think I dreamt of visiting the Pope because I wished of doing so. I think he was a good man, a believer in peace. No matter if he is a Catholic, I admired his determination, wisdom and beliefs in world peace. I feel the sadness of the lost of such a good man. Being of different race or religion does not matter to him. What's important is being united and bring forth peace. Oh! Why do we lost so many good men in recent time?
Close to what I saw and experienced in my dream.

What can I say? It's totally awesome! Showed the editor, cannon shooting windmill and few soldiers being blown away.
Cool editorial effect: controlling sea waves, colours...
Cannon shooting windmill: Each shot shows the breakdown of the windmill; dropping off of the 'fans', then bricks and so on... and the smoke effect, it all look real! (No more one shot-gone or just the simple diminishing colour/building parts).
Soldiers being attacked: Soldiers were shown being thrown back after being shot(by cannon?), eventhough it might seem unrealistic by the distance but its oh so cool.
I SO CAN'T WAIT FOR THAT FREAKING GAME !!!
